Worcester Royal Hospital manages children in the ED, Riverbank ward, outpatients, and in the neonatal period.  The adult intensive care team may be required to assist in the stabilisation of the sick child, and liaise with the Birmingham Childrens Hospital to facilitate interhospital transfers for the most unwell children.
